Tendering Procedure: 2nd Grade Middle Management Position

The Law School of the University of Minho (EDUM), in Braga, will host its 31st anniversary ceremony on December 16th, at 3:30 pm. The session has free entry and is also broadcast on that school's YouTube channel.

The opening speeches are made by the President of EDUM, Cristina Dias, and the Rector of UMinho, Rui Vieira de Castro. This is followed by a talk by the president of the European University Institute (EUI), Patrizia Nanz, on the role of universities in today's society. This lecture is part of the celebrations of UMinho's 50th anniversary. The EUI was born in 1976 in Italy, is co-financed by the EU, hosts the Robert Schuman Center, the EU Historical Archive or the European Digital Media Observatory and is the 6th best academy in the world in political science, according to the Shanghai Ranking .

About EDUM
The UMinho Law School was the third public law academy to be created in Portugal, after Coimbra (1290) and Lisbon (1911). It has around 1650 students enrolled in two undergraduate degrees, eleven master's degrees, two doctorates, supported by 35 career teachers and ten technicians. It has invested in the diversification of postgraduate education, increasing internationalization, strengthening research and interaction with society.

Its Justice and Governance Research Center (JusGov) is evaluated as “Very Good” by the guardianship and has scientific groups in the areas of EU Law, Human Rights, State, Business, Technology, Globalization, Democracy and Power, Criminal Justice and Criminology and Justice Laboratory, in addition to the Research School. EDUM also hosts entities such as the Minho Legal Studies Center (edits some of the country's main legal magazines) and develops projects with partners from all over the world.
